| I am so so so so so SOOOOOOOO excited about taking my test in less than four weeks! I just wish it was tomorrow! I was able to get a hotel room in D.C. at a military base, which will save me hundreds of dollars (yay) so it's nice to not even have to worry about anything financially. I'm all set to go! I day-dream all day about how cool the whole weekend is going to be and how cool it will be when I'm finally a professional Irish dancer and my kids can compete! I'm just SOOOOO EXCITED........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Professors...... this has just been the funniest semester ever. My professors just crack me up! Ok for my one English class, we always have to turn in our research papers a week early, and then we peer review each others, and part of our final grade for our paper is based on how well we corrected/helped our classmates. Well, my poor class just got ripped up again (same class that was busted for plagiarisms)... this professor is just killing them! I just read her comments on our class message board where we post our papers, and she was writing like these really mean comments to people! Stuff literally like, "You call this peer review? You didn't answer any of the questions I told you to about their paper and you gave them no useful comments," and "This peer review is absolutely nothing like what it should be," and "What the heck is this?" I think she handed out a bunch of zeros again.
The more I kept reading her comments to people, the more I was just laughing and laughing.... it just seemed absurd that someone could be so, well, unlike me, and write things that were so rude, when the whole class can read those comments! Then I checked my university email and saw she had sent me a personal email me about MY peer review, which really scared me... so I opened the email and it was like, "I'm really sorry that the people who reviewed your paper did such a bad job, they will pay for it in their grades, my apologies to you because I can see that you put a lot more effort into their papers than they did for you..." but then it went on to say, "But, you really need to stop being such a cheerleader. You tend to want to say nothing unpleasant and try way too hard to be encouraging, which really isn't helping them, because no one's paper was THAT good."
I just can't stop laughing. I'm laughing so hard I'm going to start crying. I don't know why this strikes me as being so funny, but here is a professor who is trying to teach me to be more mean........
I do get what she is saying, I should find more ways to give suggestions for corrections, and I will do that, but it's just the way she said it... like don't be so encouraging cause they all suck anyway..... LOL!
Oh, and, she did take a few points off my peer review because I was to encouraging. What a thing to lose points for. :-p
